\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The paper studies the areas of diversification of agricultural enterprises in the system of ensuring their competitiveness that affect the current state of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine. The interpretation of the essence of the category of \u00abdiversification\u00bb is analyzed and the main characteristics of diversification of agricultural enterprises are investigated. It is determined that the innovative form of diversification are clusters formed from competitive economic entities within the relevant industries and local entities. It is established that the effect of diversification is expressed in the emergence of new products and services, changes in sectoral, intersectoral and regional proportions. It is established that agriculture is determined by the priority sector of the Ukrainian economy in the commodity structure of exports. It is determined that in 2010 the share of crop production in the structure of gross agricultural output was 69.9%, and livestock \u2013 29.4%, in 2019 this trend was as follows \u2013 79.1 % and 20.8%, respectively. It is established that Ukrainian agricultural enterprises grow high-yielding crops, such as cereals, rapeseed and sunflower, which are in high demand on the international market. It is determined that the main directions of diversification of agricultural enterprises in the system of ensuring their competitiveness include diversification of economic activities of agricultural enterprises (formation of various shops, enterprises and industries for processing agricultural products, penetration into new industries and spheres of production) and diversification of small businesses. (creation of enterprises of small forms of agriculture, organization of new types of production within its own industry (growing new species, forest estates, growing environmentally friendly products), expanding the range of goods).<\/p>\n
