The digital transformation of Ukraine’s economy has been proclaimed at the state level through the definition of the Concept of Development of the Digital Economy and Society of Ukraine for 2018-2020 and directions of digital transformation – vectors of economic development 2030.<\/p>\n
It is determined that the term “digital economy” generalizes the following concepts of “Internet economy”, “network economy”, “virtual economy”, “information economy”, which described the progressive impact of digitalization on economic processes.<\/p>\n
The article analyzes the approaches of domestic and foreign scientists to the definition of the digital economy. It is established that the concept of “digital economy” has a significant number of interpretations, which are determined by the constant improvement of structural elements of the digital economy. Approaches to the definition of this concept can be generalized in the following approaches: resource-oriented, procedural, business-oriented, structural. Given the deepening digitalization of socio-economic processes, the existence of combined approaches to the definition of “digital economy” has been established. It is determined that there are levers of influence of the digital economy, which can have both positive and negative effects – digital data, process automation, high-speed telecommunication networks, digital access to the client. The existing approaches to the identification of risks of the digital economy are analyzed. It is proposed to systematize the risks of the digital economy at the macro and micro levels. Macro-level risks are identified – social, environmental, economic, technological, institutional, information risks. Micro-level risks include the following risks: personnel risks, managerial risks, information and technological risks.<\/p>\n
