The main advantage of a simulated signal is to avoid the complexity of a real environment, focusing only on the main contributions the developer decided to include. The current modelling of the bearing fault vibrations is an assumption about the series of impulse responses of a single-degree-of-freedom system, where the timing between the impulses has a random component simulating the slippery effect. The results of the modelling of localized faults on the outer, inner races and the rollers have shown the excitation around the resonance that corresponds to the selected natural frequency of the bearing. The conducted experimental research confirmed the presence of the same excitation on the spectrum around the resonance frequency in the high frequency band.
