The main categories of “virtual”, “virtual” and “virtual reality” are focused on creating an imaginary reality that does not coincide with the reality and the one that it generates. The growing demand and popularity of cyberspace is determined not only by its huge information resources, but also by its communicative capabilities. If, initially, the Internet was seen as a way of communicating elements of information, but now on the forefront it is an ability to connect people. Today, the evolution of the creation and formation of a multidimensional information communication environment is a determining factor in the innovative development and effective functioning of all structures and social systems of the information society. It is through the communication sphere that is transformed under the conditions of global information opportunities, freedom of access to knowledge, communication between people and communities, accumulation, dissemination and enrichment of social experience are provided. The process of virtualization, due to the development of the latest ICT, covers a significant part of the social consequences of informatization and is considered as one of the socio-psychological characteristics of the global information society. At the same time, informatization has other consequences that are not “covered” by the virtualization process. The nature of the social consequences and the dynamics of virtualization varies depending on socio-cultural, political, economic and other characteristics of the environment in which this process extends. In addition, the virtualization process does not have a social impact in isolation, but is in close interweaving with other factors (for example, the development of international tourism or migration) that can change the strength and nature of its impact.
