This work is dedicated to the problem of assessing, analyzing, and forecasting the impact of digital technologies on the economies of countries based on the use of methods of economic-mathematical analysis. The article explores the current concept and strategy of digital technology development and their impact on the economies of countries. The objects of the study are seventy countries worldwide and Ukraine. Endogenous indicators used in this research include economic activity indicators such as gross domestic product per capita, gross national income per capita, and the unemployment rate. Exogenous indicators used in this research characterize the development of digital technologies in countries and include the e-government development index, e-participation index, online services development index, human capital index, telecommunications infrastructure index, and the percentage of Internet users. Through the use of constructed panel data models and F-test, Breusch-Pagan test, and Hausman test, it has been investigated that the impact of digital technologies on the economies of countries exists, which is noticeable in indicators such as gross domestic product per capita and gross national income per capita. Additionally, the resulting indicators reflecting the economic activities of countries are significantly influenced by the e-participation index and the percentage of Internet users. The analysis of models and tests has shown which models are better to use for further diagnostics of resulting indicators. Based on hierarchical cluster analysis, the optimal number of clusters during the grouping of countries by the level of digital and economic development has been determined, the quality of clustering has been assessed, and scatter plots for pairs of indicators reflecting economic and digital development have been constructed for each of the three obtained country clusters. In the next step of the research, equations of multiple regression were constructed, allowing for the assessment of the impact of indicators reflecting the development of digital technologies on indicators reflecting the economic activities of countries. Forecasts of economic development indicators were made under various scenarios of digital development for countries. The constructed forecasts have shown how the growth and reduction of indicators of digital technology development will affect the economic activity of Ukraine. The results of this research in the form of multifactorial regression models and country grouping models can be used in the development of theoretical principles and methodological tools for assessing the impact of digital technologies on the economic activities of countries.<\/p>\n
