Analysis of the current state of the mechanism of state management of ecological and economic safety of agricultural production in practice can be considered a strategic direction, the action of which is aimed at determining the level of safety of agricultural production and compliance with global trends in agricultural management. This approach to the study of management of ecological and economic safety of agricultural production involves a set of measures, which include: first, system-structural analysis conducted to identify components of the management mechanism and the relationship of coordination and subordination between them (clarification of public administration model) ; secondly, the functional analysis of the current state of regulatory and legal support of environmental and economic safety of agricultural production in the direction of determining the completeness of the functions performed and the consistency of actions; thirdly, the analysis of the organizational structure of the management bodies of agricultural production, which provides answers to the questions of its compliance with the functions performed and the management model of environmental and economic security, ie its institutional support; fourth, the analysis of the impact of external and internal environment on the functioning of relevant management structures relevant to the management of environmental and economic safety of agricultural production in modern market conditions.
\nThe results of the analysis revealed that in Ukraine today there is no coordinated mechanism for managing the environmental and economic safety of agricultural production, public administration operates on a centralized model, organizational structure and functional system does not meet the requirements of environmental and economic safety of agricultural production. The article substantiates the strategic directions of neutralization of conflict situations and harmonization of interests of subjects of ensuring ecological and economic safety of agricultural production, which provide for: change of paradigm of development of agricultural production from technocratic to ecologically safe; formation of an effective mechanism for managing the environmental and economic safety of agricultural production through a rational combination of market and state levers of influence aimed at anticipating and preventing threats; optimization of institutional support of ecological and economic safety of agricultural production in Ukraine. The scientific and methodological approach to balancing the interests of the subjects of the mechanism of ecological and economic safety of agricultural production by combining efforts to manage environmental safety and implementation of strategic priorities of state environmental policy through the formation of environmental awareness, proper innovation of agricultural production, development of appropriate legislative and regulatory framework.
