Much of the research in the field of economics relates to tourism and is carried out within the study of the development of productive forces in the regional aspect. The intensification of this type of research in recent years is associated with a lack of clear awareness of the methodological identity of tourism and tourism, as well as the blurring of the boundaries of the subject of research. Most domestic scientists use the existing regulations of different levels of government to outline the plane of scientific solution of complex objective and subjective dialectical phenomena in the field of tourism. However, modern legislation does not allow to obtain comprehensive information on the content of the concept of “tourism” and the scale of its implementation.
\nIn turn, the State Classification of Economic Activities distinguishes only the activities of travel agencies, tour operators, and related activities, including the provision of other booking services within the scope of administrative and support services. Instead, according to the Classifier of Institutional Sectors of the Economy, tourism activities can be implemented by institutional units from different sectors or subsectors of the economy. The \u201cStrategy for the Development of Tourism and Resorts until 2026\u201d approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in 2017 does not clearly define the boundaries of the tourism sector. It provides for a combination of a significant number of sectoral, territorial and sectoral components. explanation that this is the activity of tour operators, travel agents and excursion services.
\nThe purpose of the article is to comprehensively study the semantic structure of tourist space as a subject component of tourism economics and systematization of approaches to the typology of tourist space by its types and in the plane of perception of interconnected facts, phenomena and events. totality and interrelation with other spatial components. According to the results of the analysis of approaches to structuring and typology of components of tourist space in its abstract theoretical model a separate type of tourist space was distinguished, the characteristic features of which are availability, volumes and placement of factor and non-factor incomes within separate geographical space between its subjects. economic component, as a factor that determines the boundaries of the created tourist product, the dynamics of development and variability of tourist space in the spatial organization of the tourism economy.
