The subject of research is objectives, goal-setting, principles and typology of innovation-oriented public-private partnership development.
\nThe purpose of the study is to determine the purpose, goals, principles and typology of innovation-oriented development of public-private partnership
\nThe methodological basis of the study uses a theoretical and methodological approach, as it can be assumed that the innovative orientation of PPP will contribute to a faster and technologically different solution of socio-economic problems of society. Accordingly, it makes sense to determine the nature, feasibility, relevance and prerequisites for the emergence of innovation-oriented public-private partnership.
\nResults. The article considers and investigates the main factors of goal setting, principles and typology of innovation-oriented development of public-private partnership.
\nThe trend of state support and regulation of PPP development in the information and innovation economy should be a multi-sectoral innovation-oriented development of public-private partnership. Changing the scientific and methodological basis of PPP, as well as the formation of new trends in its development requires significant innovations in terms of changing the conceptual basis for the formation of prerequisites for PPP development in information and innovation economy by: substantiation of the essence, functionality and principles of innovation-oriented PPP state support; PEST-analysis of macro-environment factors of innovation-oriented development of PPP; development of new approaches to the formation of the target block of innovation-oriented PPP.
\nFinally, it can be generalized that, on the one hand, the mechanism of innovation-oriented PPP is the result of innovative reorientation of society and its economy, and on the other – it can accelerate this development through the use of innovative integrators and integration of innovative and other resources of partners.
