Entrepreneurship is carried out under the influence of material, labor, status motivations. Mechanisms for motivating the formation and functioning of innovative structures include motivation for risky entrepreneurship, motivation to own the means of production, motivation to obtain the status of inventor in society, motivation to obtain authoritative traits, motivation to develop competitiveness of new production or enterprise. Today, there is a need to address pressing issues related to stimulating the modern development of innovative entrepreneurship.
\nThe purpose of the study is to research mechanism features of social and economic motivations for formation and functioning of innovative business structures and substantiation of their active directions at regional and state levels.
\nThe peculiarities of innovative entrepreneurship that are factors of economic growth are studied. It is determined that the mechanism of socio-economic motivations of innovative business structures is a set of norms and rules for the use of motives and incentives for the organization of innovative business activities. The types of innovative business structures and the structure of motivations for the formation and functioning of innovative business structures are identified. The requirements for determining the priority of innovative projects in the formation of specific programs of socio-economic development in the region are substantiated. It was found that the process of using innovations to motivate innovative business structures can be represented as a set of factors that motivate the development of entrepreneurship in solving the most important problems.
\nThe interrelation of mechanisms of social and economic motivations of innovative business structures is substantiated. One of the most important principles of entrepreneurship development in the regions is the stimulation of innovation and investment entrepreneurship in industries with low capital mobility and a relatively higher level of “transparency” of entrepreneurship. Special incentives should be the amount of resource savings by reducing the use of new technologies, energy-saving and environmentally friendly industries.
