In this article the main ecological problems of Ukraine are regarded. Issues, which are connected with the recycling and utilization of wastes are investigated. Statistical data are used and analyzed. The main tasks of utilization and recycling of wastes are determined. It is defined which types of rubbish dominate in Ukraine. The optimal ways to solve the problems, which are connected with wastes and their recycling are found. The theoretical foundations of solid household waste management in Ukraine are systematized and described in logical sequence, namely: modern methods of waste management have been analyzed and evaluated; the main stages of implementation of the strategy of increasing the efficiency of the field of solid waste management in modern conditions are considered. Thus, the basic purpose given educational to a subject is mastering by bases of modern methods of recycling waste products. The special attention is given to ecologically safe technologies of the manipulation with waste products with the purpose of minimization negative influence on an environment. The main method of solving the problem is the introduction of effective measures for the rapid , safe processing of solid household waste and obtain a positive economic and environmental impact from the recycling and reuse of raw materials. Every year the rate of accumulation of the waste produced in Ukraine in increasing . A new set of problems is created by the environmental pollution: the extinction of entire species of flora and fauna, the emergence of new modifications of diseases which are transmitted by genetical code and so on. These factors has determined the choice of the topic and made it relevant and practical using. The methods of waste recycling with the generation of the heat at the regional level require further studying. All this points require the need for further research in this sphere and calculating the economic and environmental impact from reusing household of waste in Ukraine and individual regions. The main purpose of the article is developing of the effective methods of waste disposal and recycling at the regional level, using foreign experience in managing solid household waste.<\/p>\n
