The problem of energy supply \u00a0remains traditionally actual on East of Ukraine. Among traditional sources is anthracite coal, gas. At the same time, the priorities of innovative development and restructuring of the economy include optimizing the structure of the energy balance of the region. In particular, ensuring the reduction of the share of fuel and energy resources through the introduction of energy-saving technologies and increasing the share of alternative energy.
\nNon-traditional technologies require significant investment. On the one hand, the state creates attractive conditions for foreign investors due to tax benefits and zero rate for imported equipment. \u00a0On the other hand, unresolved legal issues (regarding solar energy production, allocation of land plots for SES, etc.) stimulate the growth of risks for potential domestic and foreign investors. The domestic market for the consumption of energy produced through the use of alternative technologies is underdeveloped. Pricing policy in the alternative energy market requires a balanced approach of the state and energy producers with the development of short-term and long-term forecasts for the development of alternative energy production capacity, assessment of real needs of the domestic market and opportunities for its export. The cost of alternative energy products is still significantly higher than the cost of traditional energy and fuel. As a result, certain alternative energy products are aimed exclusively at exports because they do not have a guaranteed domestic market. \u041en Eastern Ukraine, climatic conditions and the specifics of management in general contribute to the development of alternative energy sources and the development of new types of alternative energy. At the regional level, the author believes that special attention should be paid to overcoming energy dependence, reducing energy consumption and increasing energy efficiency of all categories of energy consumers in the Zaporozhye region. This can be achieved by increasing the share of alternative energy sources in the fuel and energy complex of the region. Developed not enough is an internal market of consumption of energy, mine-out due to bringing in of alternative technologies. A price policy at the market of alternative energy needs the self-weighted approach of the state and producers of energy with development of short-term and long-term prognoses in relation to development of powers of production of alternative energy, estimation of the real necessities of internal market and possibilities, for its export.\u00a0 The cost of products of alternative energy sources so far substantially exceeds the cost of traditional energy and fuel. In this connection, the certain types of products of alternative energy are directed exceptionally on an export, because does not have the assured internal market of sale. On East of Ukraine climatic terms and specific of menage are on the whole instrumental in mastering of alternative energy and development\u00a0 of new types of alternative energy sources.
\nAt regional level an author considers that the special attention is needed spared overcoming of energydependence, decline of energovitrat and increase of energoefektivnosti of all categories of users of energy, in the Zaporozhia area. It can be attained by the increase of part of alternative energy sources in the fuel and energy complex of region.
