The author’s vision “the concept of agricultural enterprise development management” is presented in the article. The authors substantiates the main approaches to the definition of “concept” and proposes the author’s approach to the study definition according to which the concept is an orderly structure of views that determines the chosen direction of research and provides a strategy and tactics that are implemented for a certain period of time. The authors studied the main approaches to the concept of “management” and clarified the author’s vision of this concept according to which “management is a separate permanent process of distribution of invested funds (human and economic resources) of an enterprise according to typical management functions (planning, organization, management and control) with the aim achieving the goals. Based on the analyzed basic definition of “concept” and “management”, as well as the developed own author’s approaches to scientific terms, the following definition of the \u201cconcept of development management\u201d is proposed, which is understood as the process of distribution resources of the enterprise by typical management functions for a strategic perspective and the formation of specific ways to implement it. The authors carried out theoretical research on the concept of development management on the example of agricultural enterprises. Seven main components of this concept are identified. In particular, these components are resource coordination; performance of management functions as a means of achieving coordination; setting the goal or purpose of the management process; social aspect; cyclical nature of the management process; dynamism; available composite process. It has been founded that the concept of agricultural enterprise development management is based on maximum ensuring the result with minimum efforts in order to ensure maximum well-being and profitability of the manufacturer, as well as meeting the needs of the modern consumer. The application relevance of the concept of agricultural enterprise development management is determined by the fact that the modern process of enterprise management is continuous or streaming and characterized by increasing requirements for goods and services, as well as increasing the level of responsibility of modern consumers to society.
