The article identifies specific risks of the construction projects. A system of information and analytical support has been developed. It covers three levels of regulation of construction activities: the state regulation field; the field of technical supervision of construction; indicators and measures to optimize the volume of unfinished construction. The paper classifies the objects of unfinished construction in order to manage, it is proposed to maintain a balance between the actual and estimated cost of construction projects, to ensure a balanced number of constructed and sold square meters. The article states that the optimal situation is when estimated number of constructed meters is equal to the number of sold for the same period. The paper analyzes the cost structure of a typical nine-storey building by stages of work. The influence of the change in the cost of each stage of construction on the total cost of the object is studied. It is established that earlier detection of excess of the actual cost over the estimated, allows taking timely precautionary measures and reducing the size of the total deviation of the building cost and preventing or reducing losses on the project as a whole. The paper proposes the calculation of the safety index of business projects as a correction factor for an integrated indicator of corporate security.
