The aim of the study is to evaluate the problems of implementation and priorities of social policy improvement in ensuring of employment of persons with disabilities in Ukraine. It has been determined that the opportunities for rehabilitation of persons with disabilities by the existing indicators of availability of technical means do not fully meet the need. The problems with the financing of state social assistance are equally important. Their volume is quite high and creates an appropriate budgetary burden. At the same time, the value of assistance per person remains low and impedes active involvement in public life. Thus, the priority way of social policy for persons with disabilities is to promote their socialization through the improvement of the mechanism for promoting employment. The components of this mechanism have been systematized with the definition of its administrative and motivational components. We conclude the necessity of improving the quotas of workplaces for persons with disability, taking into account the severity of disability and the value of workplace equipment. The compensation of a single social contribution in the case of employment of persons with disabilities needs to be modernized via discount in the payment instead of compensation. In addition, it is defined that the development of social entrepreneurship is an important direction for expanding the employment of persons with disabilities. It requires updating the regulatory framework, particularly, criteria for social enterprises definition, and the use of their financial support mechanisms.<\/p>\n
