The processes of inflow of investments into the economy of Ukraine are considered, the main problems and factors influencing the investment activity are highlighted. The dynamics of the index of investment attractiveness of Ukraine and the volume of foreign direct investment inflows for\u00a02010-2019\u00a0were analyzed, which allowed to distinguish the periods of the most significant fluctuations and to identify the reasons that influenced such changes. The experience of Poland in attracting investments into the country’s economy is examined, the largest investors and the creation of the Polish Agency for Information and Foreign Investments are shown, which would help to increase investor confidence in the country’s economy. Foreign direct investment in Ukraine by regions is analyzed. The analysis showed that investment flows serve the economically developed regions of Ukraine, leaving only the less developed ones, which require significant foreign investment. The structure of the\u00a0foreign direct investment\u00a0inflow into the city of Vinnytsa has been analyzed by country. The analysis of attraction of capital investments in the Vinnytsa region is carried out. The structure of capital investments in the city of Vinnytsa by type of assets in\u00a02014-2018\u00a0was studied. The conclusions about the significance of the changes and direction that have taken place during this period have been made.\u00a0The dynamics of the number of companies over the past three years has been analyzed to understand whether foreign investments are being used effectively. The problems that prevent the attraction of new investments are characterized. This helped to identify ways and conditions for improving the country’s investment climate, which would increase\u00a0\u00a0the\u00a0foreign direct investment\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0and general equity financing.
