The article presents the processes and mechanisms of effective development of agricultural production. Investigating this topic clearly shows the trends of unstable development and structural changes in agricultural production. In this regard, the development and justification of the optimization mechanism is extremely important. Therefore, a comprehensive approach to solving and implementing processes, technologies and mechanisms for optimizing agricultural production is needed. The agro-industrial complex as a whole occupies a decisive place in the economy of Ukraine, as our state is agrarian. This article will propose methodological principles for assessing environmental problems aimed at the development of ecological economy and its improvement. Therefore, there is a need to form new and explore existing methodological principles and principles for assessing environmental problems, their simplification and simplification. Investigating the causes and consequences of environmental problems in the system of agro-industrial complex, it is advisable to follow a certain sequence, ie: to find out the fact of negative ecological impact of industrial facilities operating in different industries on the available natural resources used in agriculture; identify the facts of negative environmental impacts on the environment, which are realized by enterprises in the field of processing and logistics of agriculture; to determine the level of negative environmental consequences caused by the actual agricultural activity. It is necessary to determine the magnitude of the impact of economic entities on the environment, especially the manifestations of the impact on air, water, land and other natural resources.
