In the current conditions of development of market relations, domestic enterprises need to develop an optimal range of policies. The optimal structure of the assortment should ensure maximum profitability and sufficient stability of the enterprise as a whole. At this moment, a significant number of methods of analysis and management of the range have been developed by theorists and practitioners. Most often, the management of the range of products in industrial enterprises is intuitive, not based on the use of scientific methods. There is no comprehensive approach to the analysis and formation of assortment policy, which takes into account the relationship of strategic and operational-tactical aspects of the enterprise. Of great interest are methods that evaluate development opportunities and determine strategic position by analyzing the assortment policy of the enterprise and optimizing its composition. To carry out a competent analysis of the range of policies, the techniques developed by scientists need to be combined, adapting to the activities of a particular enterprise. The purpose of the work is to develop a generalized weighted assessment that will allow for a comprehensive approach to the analysis of the range of the enterprise and the choice of its balanced structure. One of the popular method combinations in analyzing a company’s assortment policy is the combination of ABC analysis and XYZ analysis. The article proposes an approach to assessing the range of an enterprise by finding a generalized weighted estimate that integrates the results of the range assessment by three methods, namely ABC analysis, XYZ analysis and the Marcon method. The results of this comprehensive analysis of the enterprise product range make it possible to undertake measures to optimize the enterprise product portfolio.
