\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Dominant trends in world economic progress in the late twentieth – first quarter of the twenty-first century. there are large-scale and multidimensional processes of economic, innovation-technological, information and investment-financial integration, which crystallize the new architecture of the international economic order with its qualitatively new parameters, balance of economic forces and institutional formats of national and regional economic systems. Under such conditions, the process of global management decisions undergoes significant transformation with its transition from the traditional model of country centers of international politics to a polycentric model with the delegation of management functions to multinational enterprises, informal associations and alliances of states, regional integration groups. As a result, the formation of extremely complex mechanisms of interstate interaction, diversified geopolitical and geoeconomic configurations, as well as a significant intensification of rivalry between leading global and regional centers of capital accumulation for the redistribution of world economic power and spheres of influence. Withdrawal of the United States from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, failure of plans for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, revision of NAFTA integration conditions, withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement, suspension of World Health Organization funding encourages leading regional players to actively implement in their regions alternative integration scenarios on the basis of intra- and interregional free trade agreements. In addition to gaining geopolitical and direct economic benefits, the current integration strategy of the United States is also focused on maintaining its political and economic weight in the world, preventing the global spread of institutions and value systems professed by competing trade and economic groups. In the case of the implementation of megaregional integration blocs with the participation of the United States, significant institutional changes in the regulation of interstate trade and economic relations at the national, regional and global levels, as well as dominant forms, methods, approaches and tools to increase US competitive position in world markets.
