The purpose of the article is a scientific substantiation of the conceptual approach to the organizational and economic mechanism of formation of resource supply chains of regional commodity markets. The content analysis of the category “Organizational and economic mechanism” from different positions: the nature of knowledge, research tools, process approach, system-activity approach, reproductive approach, interaction of elements, obtaining the result. This allowed to improve the conceptual and categorical apparatus of business process management at the regional level, in particular by the following categories: “the process of forming resource supply chains of regional commodity markets” from the standpoint of regional and interregional cooperation; “Organizational and economic mechanism of formation of resource supply chains in regional markets”; “Logistics infrastructure of the commodity market”. The structure of the organizational and economic mechanism of formation of chains of resource providing in the regional commodity markets in which economic and organizational components are defined is resulted. The mechanism itself is built in terms of object-subject component. The conceptual approach to the organizational and economic mechanism of formation of chains of resource providing in the regional markets which contain the following components is developed: approaches: complex and system; functions and research methods; effective directions, potential and features of formation of resource supply chains of regional commodity markets; types of risks in the formation of these chains; directions of formation of resource supply chains of regional commodity markets.
