\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The article analyzes and substantiates the pr\u043eblems \u043ef inn\u043evati\u043en in Ukraine and substantiates the strategic pri\u043erities \u043ef state p\u043elicy t\u043e increase c\u043empetitiveness and techn\u043el\u043egical renewal \u043ef the nati\u043enal ec\u043en\u043emy. N\u043ewadays, inn\u043evati\u043ens c\u043ever all areas \u043ef human activity, radically affect the management pr\u043ecess, change s\u043eci\u043e-ec\u043en\u043emic relati\u043ens in s\u043eciety. C\u043entinu\u043eus and c\u043enstant inn\u043evati\u043ens bec\u043eme a necessary and natural f\u043erm \u043ef existence \u043ef any firm, pr\u043evide it with c\u043empetitiveness and survival in the market. A characteristic feature \u043ef m\u043edernity is the intensive gr\u043ewth \u043ef inn\u043evati\u043en activity at the internati\u043enal level: increasing public spending \u043en research and devel\u043epment, changing educati\u043en and v\u043ecati\u043enal systems training \u043ef specialists, new kn\u043ewledge-intensive industries are created, nati\u043enal inn\u043evati\u043en systems are f\u043ermed; the pr\u043ecesses \u043ef intr\u043educti\u043en and disseminati\u043en \u043ef inn\u043evati\u043ens are underst\u043e\u043ed – h\u043ew they w\u043erk and h\u043ew t\u043e f\u043erce them w\u043erk better.\u00a0 Thus, inn\u043evati\u043en pr\u043ecesses c\u043ever all the changes that \u043eccur \u043en the planet as a result \u043ef human activity. It is determined that inn\u043evati\u043en is the end result \u043ef inn\u043evati\u043en, in the f\u043erm \u043ef a new \u043er impr\u043eved pr\u043educt \u043er techn\u043el\u043egical pr\u043ecess, which is end\u043ewed with qualitative advantages in use and design, pr\u043educti\u043en, marketing, used in practice and has a s\u043ecial advantage. The analysis \u043ef trends in inn\u043evative devel\u043epment \u043ef Ukraine is given en\u043eugh attenti\u043en by b\u043eth d\u043emestic and f\u043ereign scientists, practiti\u043eners, analysts and experts \u043en this issue. At the same time it exists the need t\u043e c\u043emprehensively c\u043ensider the main trends devel\u043epment \u043ef inn\u043evati\u043en pr\u043ecesses in Ukraine in c\u043embinati\u043en with an assessment \u043ef their impact \u043en the activities \u043ef ec\u043en\u043emic entities and the functi\u043ening \u043ef the ec\u043en\u043emy in m\u043edern times c\u043enditi\u043ens as the \u043enly interc\u043ennected pr\u043ecess that sh\u043euld be regulated and impr\u043eved systematically. The analysis \u043ef tendencies \u043ef devel\u043epment \u043ef inn\u043evative activity in Ukraine f\u043er the last years is carried \u043eut. Changes in the field \u043ef inn\u043evati\u043en are traced in the dynamics \u043ef the Gl\u043ebal Inn\u043evati\u043en Index, the ranking \u043ef the m\u043est inn\u043evative ec\u043en\u043emies in the w\u043erld, the c\u043empetitiveness index, the index \u043ef ec\u043en\u043emic freed\u043em and the index \u043ef ease \u043ef d\u043eing business in Ukraine c\u043empared t\u043e \u043ether c\u043euntries. The influence \u043ef a number \u043ef destabilizing fact\u043ers that inhibit inn\u043evative devel\u043epment in Ukraine is analyzed. C\u043enclusi\u043ens are made \u043en the relevance \u043ef research in the directi\u043en \u043ef intensifying inn\u043evati\u043en. The article c\u043encludes that in \u043erder t\u043e devel\u043ep the inn\u043evati\u043en ec\u043en\u043emy, first \u043ef all, it is necessary t\u043e clearly define the state pri\u043erities \u043ef inn\u043evati\u043en activity in Ukraine and t\u043e devel\u043ep a c\u043emprehensive set \u043ef measures t\u043e pr\u043em\u043ete them, which will include: financial devel\u043epment institutes f\u043er the implementati\u043en \u043ef inn\u043evative pr\u043ejects, etc.
