Coordinated interaction of components of internal and external mechanisms of management of industrial enterprises contributes to the efficiency of enterprise management. Today there is an imbalance in the planning of resources for production activities by enterprises, the lack in many cases of the possibility of expanded reproduction and formation of newly created value in industrial enterprises, low quality of management decisions, unsatisfactory level of production, technological, environmental, economic and other processes. . This is a reflection of disparities in the activities of industrial enterprises and threatens the decline of some industries. The urgent issues and strategic goals of today are the formation of an effective mechanism for managing the activities of industrial enterprises, in particular, machine-building enterprises, by ensuring resource adequacy of competitive products, improving its logistics, stability of the process of expanded reproduction and more. Effective management of enterprises in the context of modern concepts will increase their potential, minimize possible risks and failures in conditions of uncertainty in the process. The article presents the results of the author’s research on improving the mechanism of management of industrial enterprises, taking into account the specifics of the industry. The concept of management on the basis of the updated control mechanism on the basis of results of SEE-analysis with use of a cascade of indicators of components of efficiency is offered. Some aspects of the methodology of SEE-management of the enterprise on the basis of certain methodological principles and methodological tools for evaluating the results of this activity are highlighted. It determines the sequence of implementation of analytical procedures and allows to identify internal opportunities (reserves, potential) for its activation at the appropriate stages of the life cycle of enterprises. Developed scientific and practical recommendations for evaluating the performance of enterprises in the management process on the basis of the author’s concept, taking into account the systemic, logistical and praxeological approaches will help increase efficiency.
