The article deals with modern aspects of knowledge management in innovation management on the basis of creativity as a factor of innovation, competitiveness and successful development of organizations. The current state of scientific literature in this area has been studied. Creativity is seen as the ability to create new and potentially useful ideas for the company and find new solutions, as a powerful and inexhaustible economic resource. The theoretical bases of the essence of the concepts “innovation” and “innovation management” are investigated, the approaches to the definition of the concept “creative management” are analyzed, the differences of innovation and creative management of the enterprise are given. The interrelation of factors of formation and development of creative management is established and stages of process of creative management are allocated. A conceptual approach to the definition of creative management as a subsystem of innovation management based on knowledge management, which in interaction provide an increase in the flow of new knowledge in the form of new productive ideas to develop innovations. The most common interpretations of knowledge from the standpoint of their management in organizations are considered. The qualities of creative workers are determined and their types are classified. On the basis of approaches and tools of knowledge management the basic theoretical and practical skills which the creative personnel of the enterprise should possess are grouped. The basics of the concept of personnel competencies are investigated. Accordingly, the key qualities of staff must meet the requirements of employees, specific position, priorities for enterprise development. The article pays special attention to the subjects of knowledge management \u2013 knowledge managers, whose responsibilities include the organization of knowledge management processes and intellectual assets of the enterprise. The general characteristic of functions of creative workers of the enterprise is resulted. Further developments in the defined area are the rationale for effective knowledge management for a modern organization as one of the resources to increase their own competitiveness, ways to optimize the organization of internal processes.
