У роботі розглядається процес проведення порівняльного тестування фарфорового посуду за певним алгоритмом. Як об’єкт дослідження були обрані тарілки фарфорові пиріжкові різних виробників, що представлені на ринку м. Полтава. Для проведення порівняльного тестування фарфорового посуду авторами розроблено оптимальну номенклатуру показників якості, складено програму порівняльного тестування; проведено органолептичне оцінювання властивостей та лабораторне дослідження обраних показників якості; проаналізовано результати порівняльного тестування.

Comparative testing of goods is the most effective mechanism for informing consumers. This article examines of comparative testing of porcelain dishes by a certain algorithm. The object of the research is the plates of porcelain for patties of various manufacturers, presented on the market of Poltava. For the comparative testing developed indicators of quality plates of porcelain for patties. The program of tests: an analysis of the requisites of marking; identification of objects; definition of the main dimensions; water absorption, heat resistance and whiteness; evaluation of indicators and analysis of results. The marking of samples 1 and 2 do not meet the requirements of regulatory documentation. On the surface of the sample 3 revealed defects of appearance (clogging). The results of the determination of thermal stability show that the plates have a durable, predicted lifetime of samples over 2.5 years. The indicator of water absorption of samples lies in the range from 0.1 to 0.2, the whiteness index is 66.0, 67.0 and 94.0%. These indicators meet the requirements of normative documentation. Investigation of the microstructure of the fracture fragment of products was performed with the USB Digital Microscope with an increase of 5x to 500x. The microstructure of products is homogeneous, dense and glassy. On the breaks of samples expressed layers of colorless, transparent glaze, white color. Indicators used for comparative testing evaluated on a scale. Samples of plates of English and Chinese manufacturers had high evaluation. The comparative testing show that sample 1 scored 4.7 points («excellent»); sample 2 – 4.7 («excellent»); sample 3 – 4.4 («good»). The decrease in the evaluation is due to the incomplete amount of the requisites of marking on the samples. There is a problem to provide complete information about goods to consumers.
