Розглянуто існуючі економіко-математичні моделі портфельного управління в діяльності ІТ-підприємства з метою
максимізації прибутку.

The purpose of this study is by analyzing the economic and mathematical models applied to portfolio management to the
IT enterprises activity form an optimal portfolio management system.
Given the rapid development of IT-industry in Ukraine, most of the entrepreneurs are looking for suitable solution aiming
to increase profit due to the effective IT-projects portfolio management. That is an underline reason to conduct an analysis on the
relevant topic. After all, the project management system changes depending on the specifics of the enterprise. In this paper, to
produce comprehensive analysis further will be provided result of four models analysis of project portfolio formation. Namely: the
assignment problem, the Wentzel model, the Markovic model and the Badri-Davis model. Results are derived on the basis of their
mathematical application as well as their advantages and disadvantages in the context of use in the IT enterprise consideration.
That’s why it is possible to use the task of appointment as a basis for developing an economic and mathematical model for the
implementation of IT projects in this study. Among the positive sides of Wentzel’s model is the ability to solve problems that have
not been previously studied due to the lack of appropriate mathematical apparatus. The Markovic model is quite specific, which
does not allow to use it for the task set in this study. But some ideas of this model, for example, the use of profitability, in the
target function of the portfolio management model of IT projects attracts attention and is possible to apply within this study. The
specificity of the Badri-Davis model is its versatility, which allows, albeit with some changes, to use it in the field of IT project
management.
The result of the analysis of enterprise models was that, despite their advantages, none of them in its pure form gives
appropriate instruments to build a model of project portfolio management in the activities of IT enterprises at the required accuracy
and detail. Existing methods and models dedicated to analyze enterprise modeling, have either an overly generalized view of the
problem under study or excessive detail, and are complex in terms of collecting input data.
