У статті проаналізовано специфіку застосування процесного підходу в управлінні бізнес-процесами підприємства торгівлі. Розглянуто поняття категорій «бізнес-процес», «процесний підхід», охарактеризовано основні методики процесного підходу. Також визначено проблеми та перспективи процесного управління в діяльності вітчизняних підприємств торгівлі. В результаті виконаного аналізу, запропоновано рекомендації, які сприятимуть впровадженню моделі процесного управління підприємством торгівлі.

The article is devoted to the specifics of the application of the process approach in the management of business processes of a trade enterprise in Ukraine. The concept of categories “business process”, “process approach” is considered, the basic methods of process approach are characterized. Problems and prospects of process management in the activity of domestic trade enterprises are also determined. As a result of the analysis, recommendations are proposed that will contribute to the implementation of the model of process management of the trade enterprise. Therefore, in order to provide the trade enterprise with a stable profit and reduce costs, it becomes necessary to carry out competent management of business processes, the problem of which does not lose its relevance today.
Network forms of trade business organization necessitate organizational changes in the management system. The efficiency and effectiveness of commercial activities are determined by the quality of management decisions, which depend on the management system.
The productivity of the trade enterprise is determined by the effectiveness of management in changing external and internal conditions. In modern trade there is a gradual replacement of the functional approach in management to the process approach, which is characterized by systematization and standardization of implemented business processes.
As a result of the conducted analysis the recommendations which will promote introduction of model of process management of the enterprise of trade are offered: change of culture of conducting business as a whole; process management contributes to the formation of a new economic thinking of the management of trade enterprises, focused on modern management methods; the application of the process approach requires certain investments; optimization of temporary, material, labor, information resources.
