Стаття аналізує роль машинобудування в економіці України, його вплив на ВВП та національну безпеку. Розглядається важливість сучасних технологій, автоматизації виробництва для конкурентоспроможності. Визначено, що розвиток машинобудування як ключового сектора промисловості не може ефективно функціонувати без розробки механізму підвищення ефективності машинобудівних підприємств у конкурентних умовах, враховуючи його внесок у стабільність та зростання економіки країни. Дослідження також висвітлює основні виклики, з якими зіштовхується галузь, та шляхи їх подолання в умовах глобалізації та технологічних змін. Особлива увага приділяється аналізу ринкових тенденцій, стратегічному плануванню та адаптації підприємств.
